It is fair to say that the technology is getting in front of the software. I mean, you can not start editing a new file format ... before it was created.
I've had a great time with my first few months of high def, mts files. I take my shoots with Canon Vixia HF11.
What is AVCHD?
There is a file format for recording and playback of high definition video.
AVCHD is a relatively new high-definition video format. From 2005, Sony and Panasonic combined their efforts to createa high-definition format for a tapeless camcorder. It was officially released in 2006.
Other companies such as JVC camcorder are released with a hard drive, but it's literally hard to keep with the increase in capacity of memory chips and its corollary prices. That alone makes the camera more attractive by using memory cards to me. My Canon Vixia HF11 has been both hard drive capacity and memory card, but in 2 years
As I have already checked beforeCanon Vixia my purchase, I was about the lack of good information, editorials surprised about the Internet and so many of the above 'Google' results were published in 2007 and 2008. However, a lot has happened in a year, and while I was still not much good information, I have enough to support independent descriptions, professional reviews to my choice of Canon.
The next hop was editing and while the software with the Canon Vixia provided is adequate for viewing, storing your videos, if the objectis web development and use of the new format capabilities, you need to buy editing software.
I have an Adobe bias. I see there are other popular editors now. Pinnacle Studio gets a lot of attention. I am very happy with my Premiere Pro / AfterEffects combination.
There are annoying things that do not recognize the operating system as your file type and present that the attractive familiar iconic tile, if you check your files. It took a few sessionsdecided over many days in front of my pc's to take to work with Premiere Pro and show that the preferred editor / file type, but still no stone image to rattle your brain a little, than to submit. The video files are very large and I'm still reading about the different experiences with video options, the various "high quality" between 12, 15 are offered, and 24 Mbps. I backed off 24 and am still experimenting with the difference 12 to 15 24 Mbit / s could be a bit choppy, it seemedoverwhelm the software with too much information.
Other than that, I am very happy with my Premiere Pro / AfterEffects combination. When my session produces very large files that begin as reconnect I in Premiere Pro, they put together on timeline. The transition is seamless and I export. Avi or flash type. Flv or new. F4.
When the sessions are much shorter and do not need to be prepared, After Effects, but works with quite well. Mts format. Both Premiere Proand work as well as an AVCHD Adobe After Effects editor, but release CS4. I see many posts about Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, solutions and plug-ins like this information page from their own supporting Adobe website:

But my observation is that an upgrade to CS4 jump, and no other tire through would be much better (and about the same cost) to purchase additional software.
I believe the future is now. If your media is little solidState memory cards, if there is no tape in the camera when you realize you can read directly manipulate these cards and immediately start
it's wonderful. I have questions on the mts file type, but like any new technology, I am sure there will be a recognized format, maybe even sneak preview soon on our tile directory list.
When I create a Flash file or Windows Media watered down to a reasonable size for a website, I am very impressed that evenAfter considerable pressure, the colors come through and thus the wide-format, if desired. I like Microsoft "Zune Video" format, 30 fps for sites that do not accept Flash. Swf files. The Flash SWF version of similar pressure, wide screen is also so much of the original quality and resolution.
There is a lot to swallow. For the convenience of storage and editing capability moment, there are many other "learning curves" andAccommodation.
So it is worth it? Well, in a word, yes. These pictures are brilliant ... There are processing issues, and our learning curve will continue to improve during the editing function with time.
Our audience has liked wide-screen display, and it is moved from the living room to the Internet. And hey, it's a little fun to the development boundary.
