Having used various other manufacturer's USB flash drives, I found the Kingston DataTraveler to be recognized more easily by both Macs and PCs. Great product.

Customer Review: Works well but....

I bought this product for research data and pictures. It works well but its plastic outer covers seems cheaply made. It's not as solid as my previous flash drives and doesn't seem like it will hold up very long. I also am afraid that the button that allows you to slide the USB connection in and out is fragile and will break soon. While it's nice that this connection is retractable, it would also be awful if the latch broke and I was no longer able to get to my data. I have had a good experience with other Kingston products so I'm hoping this product will work out well for me too.
